Activists in Keene, NH understand the people are government

They call it "Robin Hooding, saving people from parking tickets.

Keene wants the money, Robin Hood Activists keep them from getting it.

Good for them!  Good for the Constitution, all Americans and the principles of freedom.

Robin Hood

Activists in Keene have been “Robin Hooding” for years now. (Here are all our Robin Hood related posts.) The purpose is to rescue motorists like you from being ticked by Keene’s “parking enforcers”. If your meter is expired, Robin Hood and the Merry Men and Women will place a coin into the meter to extend your time, presuming we reach the meter before the King’s enforcers. If a “parking enforcer” is on the street, the Merry Men and Women will usually be seen walking directly in front of him/her and check and feed meters before the enforcer.
In addition to our calling cards that inform motorists that they have been rescued, Robin Hooders are now armed with a flyer intended for people who we were unable to save from being ticketed. The information will help inform the King’s victims of their rights, like how to take it to trial and clog the courts and the myriad of benefits this tactic provides. Click to read that flyer in PDF form.
What is the purpose of Robin Hooding? This video explains:

Shire Society Declaration WE, THE UNDERSIGNED witnesses to the lesson of history — that no form of political governance may be relied upon to secure the individual rights of life, liberty, or property — now therefore establish and provide certain fundamental precepts measuring our conduct toward one another, and toward others:
FIRST, each individual is the exclusive proprietor of his or her own existence and all products thereof, holding no obligations except those created by consent;
SECOND, no individual or association of individuals, however constituted, has the right to initiate force against any other individual;
THIRD, each individual has the inalienable right of self-defense against the initiation of force;
FOURTH, explicit voluntary association is the only means by which binding obligations may be created, and claims based on association or relationships to which any party did not consent are empty and invalid;
FIFTH, rights are neither collective nor additive in character, and no group can possess rights in excess of those belonging to its individual members;
We hereby declare our commitment to peace, individual sovereignty, and independence, and join the Shire Society.
